The apparel comprised symbols meaningful to the bride, such as a thistle for Scotland to symbolise the couple’s fondness for Balmoral, along with a Shamrock for Ireland at a nod to the Ferguson family.
The Queen gave Eugenie that the Greville emerald Kokoshnik Tiara, that was created in 1919.
Classical singer Andrea Bocelli played two songs throughout the ceremony, followed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Eugenie’s elderly sister and maid of honor Beatrice read from F Scott Fitzgerald’s novel The Great Gatsby.
